BeromLand seeks ejection of Fulani herdsmen from Plateau State

The residents of Berom Community at a press conference in Jos on Sunday gave President Jonathan an ultimatum to evacuate all  Fulani herdsmen from Beromland, Plateau State. the call had become necessary  to stop further killings of its people. President of the Abuja Berom, Peter  Gai, said, “that 10,000 lives have been lost and property worth over N180bn have been destroyed following the series of attacks by Fulani against Berom".


“As law-abiding people with the fear of God, we have exercise restrain in the face of wanton destruction of lives and property. We have cooperated with security agencies to ensure that these sensless killings of our  people is stopped"
“However, the killings have taking a dangerous dimension where our people are been hunted like animals and killed in their very place of abode.
“Since the Federal Government and the security agencies cannot stop the Fulani from killing our people, we hereby demand that the FG remove all Fulani persons from Beromland to save the lives of our people.
“Senator Dantong has been killed in the course of defending Berom land, we will not give up, we are ready to continue from where he stopped until we secure our land.”
