Dethroned MBGN Isabella Ayuk finally opens up

After keeping silent amidst the controversy that rocked her short reign as MBGN 2012, Isabella Ayuk has reacted to the stories and controversy that led to her eventual dethronement and disqualification.

The beauty queen, via her facebook page at around 11 am on Saturday, July 14, 2012, confirmed her awareness of the scandals that have plagued her, but didn’t say whether or not she was guilty of the false age declaration, as many had suspected and alleged.

‘Scandal is necessary for stardom. Envious people always exist especially wen they r afraid of ur rising. As giant we will dwarf them. In God I will always Trust. If God says YES,no human can say NO,who God has blessed,is indeed Blessed’, she wrote on her facebook page.
The 25-year-old, who was on Saturday, May 5, 2012 decorated as winner of the MBGN 2012 pageant, was reportedly disqualified by the Miss World organisers in June, allegedly on the basis of age falsification. She has since resumed at the NYSC camp as a youth corp member, which she claims is her reason for not going for the pageant. The organizers of MBGN also insist she was not disqualified. The Miss World organizers refused to say anything on the matter when NET contacted them; referring us instead, back to the MBGN organizers.
The first runner up, Dammiete Granville Charles, has since been chosen to represent Nigeria at the Miss World pageant which is to hold on Saturday, August 18, 2012 in Mongolia, China, while Ayuk will be representing the country at the Miss Universe pageant.
Isabella is a professional beauty queen, participating in over five pageants, including the Miss Nigeria, Beauty Queen of the South-South and Miss Global Nigeria pageants before winning MBGN in May, 2012.
