In their quest to revolutionise the Nigerian real estate sector by providing platforms that will create investable real estate and elevate standards in the built industry; top Real Estate companies and the crème de la crème of Nigeria’s Real Estate converged recently at the Real Estate Unite Conference and Awards organised
by 3Invest Limited, a real estate consulting, media and advocacy firm.

The event, an international business-to-business conference and awards focused on strategic solutions integral to Nigeria’s real estate growth as well as an award ceremony designed to recognise and celebrate spectrum of talents in the industry was delivered in association withthe  The Guardian Newspapers.

From the official opening of the conference by the Lagos Commissioner for Housing, Mr.BosunJeje; to the highly topical conference presentations by top Real Estate Expects in Nigeria; as well as the colourful and well-attended awards night; one thing that stares participants in the face is the bespoke elegance and ambience of the venue: a craft that speaks volume of the dexterity of the décor company, Blu Victoria.

The Red Carpet reception of the awards night, featured socialites from all works of the Nigerian Business environment who have come to felicitate with 3Invest on this giant stride; the isles of the walls were dotted with the wonderment of photography and painting featuring the best of KelechiAmadi-Obi’s lens and brushes. This art exhibition displaying places and locations in Nigeria and supported by Saunders Development Company engaged the guests intete-a-tete before being hosted to a hilarious welcome by the legendary Alibaba

Having received a goodwill message from the Minister of Housing Mrs.AmaPepple, it was time for the amazon of Nigerian Real Estate, Ruth Obih, Managing Director/CEO of 3Invest to give her opening remarks. The audience were held spell-bound when after her brief speech Obih invited Nigerian Idol Star, TimiDakolo who performed his ‘Great Nation’ to the admiration and ovation of the audience.

In all, ten crystal award plaques were handed to ten different companies in Nigeria’s Real Estate Sector. These awards are: Most Active Real Estate Funding Institution (Equity) won by Actis – Developers of The Palms Lekki and Ikeja; Leading Property Finance Company (Debt) won by the duo of First Bank Nigeria PLC and Aso Savings and Loans PLC; Most Outstanding Property Construction Company went to Cappa&D’Alberto; while Developer of the Year and Most Innovative Architectural Company went to UPDC and James Cubbitt Architect respectively.

Other categories of the award include:  Affordable Housing Development of the Year, won by Elegant Court, Lekki; Most Resourceful Public Private Partnership (PPP) was awarded to Zenith Bank in respect of its Corporate Social Responsibility on AjoseAdeogun Road; Most Ingenious Construction and Building Materials Manufacturing Company went to Dangote Cement; Most Informative Real Estate Publication was given to the duo of The Punch News Papers and Castles Weekly Magazine; while Fine and Country West Africa beat 10 other nominees to clinch the Most Aspiring Real Estate Support Service Company.
The awards night reached a climax when multi-award-winning song star 2Face Idiba hit the stage rendering the best in his Hypertek Collections. 2face re-established himself as a world class brand as his stage mien and captivating performance got the formal audience asking for more…

Another point of attraction in the four-tiered event is the Exhibition which paraded the best of products and services as well as the most influential brands in the industry. Visitors to the exhibition confessed that the setting portrayed 3Invest’s sync with international standards.
