Biography: Peter Gregory Obi



Peter Obi, whose full name is Peter Gregory Obi, is a prominent Nigerian politician, businessman, and philanthropist. He was born on July 19, 1961, in Onitsha, Anambra State, Nigeria. Obi is known for his contributions to the political landscape of Nigeria and his focus on economic reforms and good governance.


Education and Early Career:

Peter Obi had his early education at Christ the King College, Onitsha. He later attended the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, where he earned a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy. He furthered his studies at Lagos Business School and Harvard Business School, where he obtained a Master's in Business Administration (MBA).


Business Ventures:

After completing his education, Obi ventured into business and became successful in various sectors. He founded several companies, including Next International Nigeria Ltd., which was involved in the importation and distribution of various products.
